Clarification regarding F&F Settlement of my previous company.

I have left my previous job on 9th of July, 2016.I received partial payment after one month and some payments are still pending. They assured me to clear the payment within one week and still it is pending. And for the Annual Bonus payment, they informed me that it will be paid only at the time of Diwali only, that is also for the FY 2015-16. Again I have to wait till next Diwali for the balance Bonus payment from Apr 2016 to Jul 2016 for the FY 2016-17. Please clarify that is there any rule for Bonus payment at the time of Diwali Only as I have already left the organisation and the how can we say that it is "Full & Final Settlement"? What is maximum time limit can take the company to settle the payment including Bonus.

1. The contract of employment cannot be altered after it has been signed by the employee except with the consent of the employee. Both the employer and employee continue to be governed by the agreement which you had signed. Any alteration effected thereto without your consent is not legally enforceable against you.

2. You should engage a lawyer to issue a legal notice to the employer to release your salary forthwith, failing which you can sue the ex employer for recovery of salary and also compensation.
