Clarification on caste

Hello Sir/Mam, Our cast falls under OBC category in state of Maharashtra but not centrally recognized yet. I am not sure if it is applicable for nation wide entrance exams for engineering graduates like BARC, ISRO etc. Also if it applies, still I am confused if I fit into the category of non-creamy layer: 1. My father is retired principle of private school aided by Maharashtra Government. and now he is working for the educational trust of that same school. 2. My mother is school teacher in private school aided by Maharashtra government. Please let me know if income limit of 6 lakh applies to my case for non-creamy layer certificate. Thanks in advance
Info about Non Creamy layer certificate for OBC (Other Backward Classes) as follows:
Eligibility:
You must fall in OBC Category
Parents Income should not exceed more than Rs.4,50,000 annually.
Parents, either of whom is a direct Class I officer or
Parents, both of whom are direct Class II officers or
Parents of whom only the father is a direct Class II officer and he gets into Class I at the age of 40 or earlier
In military, colonel and above.
All the government servants ether than the above four fall in Non Creamy Layer.
