Child Care Leave rules for central govt Employee. How to proceed on it

28-Apr-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I am working in a central govt Hospital. As my baby is having serious medical condition,i asked for a 6months Child Care Leave and is granted but after that they are not allowing me to continue on CCL for another 6 Months. We do have a 2 years provision for CCL. As my baby has severe Brain injury and now she is only 8 moths old, is it possible for the institution to deny my CCL request? Can it be challenged?

Hi there,
The authority which grants the leave can deny it too. But there should b reasons. In case of denial u can approach the higher authorities as may be provided in the rules. If they r not allowing then pls approach the CAT after filing detailed representations to the concerned officers
Pls contact me for further informations
