Charges are clear now will this effect if I apply for government job ?

Some charges were filed against me i.e attempt to murder in 2011 but all the charges are clear now. but when I went to police for my character certificate they gave a certificate in which it is mentioned that I was charged with attempt to murder case. my question is now If I apply for any government job will this effect my job ?
By clear means that you are discharged ? Your query is silent on this fact.
We will have to go through the order in which your case was finally resolved.
However if the character certificate reads as under:
" charged with attempt to murder case".
Then this means you were charged with the said offence. But if you have an order of clean chit, you can submit the same alongwith the application.
