Change in notice period from 1 month to 3 month

23-Feb-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
Hi All, Please help me out. I work at a startup as a Software Engineering. When I joined, notice period was 1 month. But after 7-8 month, I got a hike, and a new agreement letter/offer letter was given to me, having new salary structure and 3 month notice period. I accepted and signed it then. Now, I want to resign, already served 1 month notice period, but didn't get the salary of last 2 month, because company wants to term it as buyback. Is it legal to change notice period? Any way to get back 2 months' salary?

MY OPINION THAT you have legitimate right to get you two months salaries as well as you have absolute right to take legal steps against that company for unnatural delay to pay you two months salaries, you should take legal steps.
