Can we make employees sign a bond for not disclosing any information

Should we make our employees sign a bond/agreement that all the information that they know and have about the company, they can not use it outside ? Basically we want to be secure that no one can steal the vital information of the company.
Yes, you can do this. In fact, this is a common trend in western countries. Off late, many Indian companies have started this practice to avoid disputes involving data theft and disclosure of secret/confidential information. Good luck with the process!
