Can the resignation be rejected on the basis of investigation

13-Jan-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I have put resignation following the company norms from.company portal with 2 months notice. But after I put resignation , I have been put under disciplinary investigation for a previous case and subsequently put into suspension and my resignation was cancelled. Now can company hold back me even after the expiery of my notice, as they are yet to complete the investigation?

Every employee has the right to leave the job whenever they want to. If not allowed by the employer then it is a violation of their rights. Although, according to your situation as there is one investigation going on you, still you can leave the job whenever you want to after serving the notice.
