Can people with pending civil case join the govt job

I have completed my engineering by taking education loan(2 lakh rupees). I have paid some interest. Since I was unemployed I was unable to pay the prinicipal. Now the bank has sent a letter that legal action would be taken. But I have just cleared the bank po exam and awaiting for my interview. Is this going to affect my employment??? Can people with pending civil case join the govt job. If this thing goes to court do I have a chance at employment. Please reply sir/madam.
As you have taken loan you were bound to repay the said loan amount you can write to the bank and seek time for repayment of the loan amount. If once a civil proceedings starts against you your job would be in jeopardy and you may face consequences of not paying the loan amount.
