Can I take another job while my employment matter is pending in court

19-Feb-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
Dear Sir, I was working in Central Public sector undertaking since 2014 as Technical Asstt.(Trainee). As per the appointment letter, there was a 1 year training period but company extended the training-ship for another 1.5 years & did not absorb me into service. In last Oct.16, The company terminated me without assigning any reason because they had recruited 7 persons instead of two vacancy as per advt. & that is why they have been continuously extending the training ship . Now the matter is pending before honorable High-court. Now i am unemployed. Please advice me, can i take another job till the judgement in private sectors or do private practice because i am an Engineer.? Please support me in this tough & give your valuable advice to plan my future as of now it is in dark. Regards, Vishnu Verma

You can surely do that because since there is not interim order by the court in your case, until reinstated, you'll treated to be out of government service. Hence, you may go ahead and find employment in the private/govt. Sector

First of all, you please clarify the present status of your ongoing case in high court, then only one can advice you in proper way whether you should go for any other job or wait till final disposal of your case.
