Can I sue an organization for issuing bad character certificate

My Wife had signed a bond of employment with her bank. Because of our marriage ,she had to relocate and the organization was not ready to transfer her. She has settled all the dues with the bank including the money specified in the bond and three months of salary because she did not serve notice period. The Bank in her service certificate has given bad comments about her deserting the job, that making it difficult to pursue jobs in future. Can i sue the organization for providing normal service certificate without these comments.?
you can sent a legal notice to your employer about the same for rectify the unwanted comments in the service certificate . if the so called comments are false then you can approach to industrial tribunal also.
