Can I join another job without serving notice period in previous job

I have not been going to my previous organisation because they practice unethical ways. It's been few weeks. In the mean time I have got an offer from another organisation where I am required to join immediately. I do not wish to serve nice period. I am still in probation. I have worked with this company for only 3 months. I have not signed any bond with them. I have only signed the appointment letter. will I face any legal consequences.
As per your query, if the terms and conditions specified in your agreement state that you have to serve a notice period then you are bound to do so. Otherwise, the company can take legal action against you for non fulfilment of the terms and conditions agreed upon.
