Can I claim equal pay for equal work for temporary & contractual work

Can i get regular employment or equal pay for equal work as per recent SC judgement ? Am currently working under contractor at Paradip Port trust since 20yrs & PPT management is my principal employer. We are 81 workers under one contractor & more than 800 workers unders various contractors at PPT.
The Supreme Court, in State of Punjab vs. Jagjit Singh has held that temporary employees would be entitled to draw wages at the minimum of the pay-scale (- at the lowest grade, in the regular pay-scale), extended to regular employees, holding the same post.
