Can employer force employees to take leaves as per their guidelines

20-May-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
Hi, We are entitled to causal and vacation leaves (12+15). But the employer is forcing us to take leave for 10 consecutive days every calendar year. Due to this, we are not able to take paid leaves for family functions, personal emergencies and illness. We have communicated this to the company but they are saying that this is their policy and we must oblige. So my question is, can employers force employees to take leaves as per their guidelines? Is it not the right of the employee to utilize his leaves as per his wish? If possible, please quote law sections that uphold our rights on this.

Your employment in the private sector is governed by your employment contract and terms and conditions included in it. You leave in the company will also be governed by such agreement.
