Can company change the notice period from 30 days to 60 days

Hi, I am bpo employee (Agent), my complany changed the notice period from 30 days to 60 days without any prior notice. It is clearly mention that any changes in the contract will be informed in writing. what I can do?

You may raise your protest over the same by the way of formal communication (email and by personal meeting with Boards). You should specifically state that you came on board as per the norms mentioned in the appointment letter and same shall be subject to change only by way of his assent and not otherwise.
In case they refuse to meet your demands then you should further proceed with legal procedure first by sending them a legal notice and then by contesting it in a competent Court of jurisdiction.
However, personally I would not advise you to go for legal procedure because your subject is a trivial issue and you would end up losing more money than it is justified in your case.

company has the right to change the policies anytime but in your case if the company has given the appointment letter and mentioned the one month notice than you donot have to worry since they have not given you in writing about the change in policy in your case old rule should apply unless and until you have signed the fresh contract wid them.
