Can Bond be void due to non posting , after expiry of time mentioned?

03-Jul-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I have finished my MBBS and internship from a govt college in MP in March 2016, and I was supposed to be given a 1 year rural posting after that,as per the bond we signed during admission, according to which we have to work for 1 year in rural service or pay 5 lacs, but after waiting more than a year, the department of health services MP has not yet alloted me any rural health centre. Since it has cost me over an year of my time without work, can I claim to get my bond void and start working elsewhere.

Yes, you can demolish the Bond without any doubt becouse when the employer is not complying his part then there is no option to you to wait and waste your time. I will advise you that you only see the procedure give under the Bond that if any one is unable to comply the condition of the Bond then how can bond be declared Void. Becouse you will have to follow the method given into the Bond otherwise there should be problem.

I hope this advice will help you to understand and face the problem.
