Can a we appear for govt exam if a criminal case is pending

I got selected in a Delhi govt job and the joining process is started.But I am accused in a FIR 328/2012 ipc 419,120B Exam cheating on me and not to summon issued . I can get a job with this case or not. I have to mention about all the particulars in the attestation forms sent to me.what would u advice?Is there any rule in the manuals that a person with a pending court case cannot be employed in a govt dept.

You should declare it honestly. You will not get job if you are convicted of the said offence otherwise you will get the job. You need to discuss this alongwith the Govt. Rules & Regulations in this case. You can contact me through Law Rato.

Laws mandates that an absconder or a convincted person can't be inducted into a government job.
Similar to this, a person upon whom there is an ongoing criminal case he has to declare the details of such criminal case otherwise non declaration of cases when it has been asked or is required is itself a crime big enough to declare you unfit for the job.
However all criminal cases do not makes you unfit for a government job. Criminal matters which are of trivial nature do not makes you unqualified for the government job.
