Can a labour claim his salary without having any working proof

a labour has threaten me that he will go to labour o take his 8 day salary . i have no record of his working no signature nothing is there as a proof that he worked in my company ?
When there are no records at the table how can one get sued or can brought up a suit against anyone for anything? There's absolutely no chances of any case arising in between you both. Sit back at your table and do your work.
