Bond signed with company but don't want to continue working there

30-Sep-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
Hii, I have signed a bond for 1 year half month in my last company. At starting, I assumed that i will develop a interest in the profession they were providing me. But that was not true. I have got a good chance on the profile that fancies me and is of my interest , in another company. I left the last company on 27 oct and joined another company. Now after 1 month the old company is demanding the bond. what could i do? As i am unable to pay that amount. I need help urgently as they are threatening me to file the case in supreme court over this. I have signed the bond on stamp paper.

Need not to worry No case for payment of amount agreed in bond could be filed straight in Supreme Court. However you have to be vigilant. In order to advise you properly the perusal of bond condition is necessary There are defence available under law but the same depends under what circumstances the bond was executed
