Am I eligible for a govt job if I have a criminal case pending ?

Sir my wife filed 506,420,498a,3,4 dpa cases on me recently i am selected for a state government job in telanga.i want to know wheather this cases may effect on my job enqiry or not.how to get rid of this problem please help me out of this.

Yes usually in most of the govt sector services they do insist that the candidate must have clean record which includes no criminal case is pending against you. In your case after seeing through your nature of the case you can move a Petition under Sec 482 of IPC for quashing of the FIR. That's the only best option and the other may be you can enter into a compromise with the victim but there is a risk in it that is some times organizations don't accept it since compromise is a way of settling the matter and you have not been acquitted by a competent court of law. So better approach the concerned High Court for quashing of the FIR.
