Once you have been proven not guilty by the Hon'ble court then you cannot be debarred from appearing in any government job including the job of IAS and IPS. One is barred to appear in the exams of government jobs only in such cases wherein he or she has been found guilty in some serious offence.

In Suresh Chand Saini v. State of Rajasthan (S.B. Civil Writ Petition No. 6707/1997 decided on August 28, 1998), Single Bench of this Court was considering a case where information in respect of pendency of criminal case under Sections 336 and 337 IPC was suppressed in column No. 17 of the application form. It was held that-"Be that as it may as the petitioner was acquitted before even asked to join the service, detailed examination of the facts in respect of pendency of criminal case is not necessary. The petitioner therefore could not have been prevented from joining the service on the post of Constable. Pendency of criminal case on the date of submission form, thus, cannot be regarded as disqualification in view of Note (1) of Rule 13 of the Rules of 1989."
