If a person makes an insurance claim that is not true: By providing False details: 1. Cause of Accident 2. Place of Accident 3. Name of Driver Does it amount to Fraud (IPC 420)? THANKS

If it's caught by Insurance company than they can sue u/s 420 of IPC. . . .

In fact it is not only amounts to offence under section 420 of IPC, but offence under the other sections of IPC also. Against that person FIR should be lodged with the concern Police Station, so that he may be prosecuted for the related offence.
