Procedure to change an advocate in between the case

My case gone to high court appeal due advocate negligence. how to change the advocate. He is not handover to me file and documents.
you can change the advocate at any point of time if you are not satisfied the lawyer. you can request him to return the files in case he does not return the file you can ask your new lawyer to appear and get the certified copies of the file from the court.
