My father had insurance from an insurance company. but he expired on 3sep2016 and he took policy in march 2016. but he did not mention about his angioplasty that took place in 2009. insurance company had done all the medical tests possible and done all the formalties and checkup possible before giving the policy. now they are denying the claim on that basis?

You can write them a letter stating your questions and seek them clarification on payments. Further if you find any discrepancy in that you can send them a legal notice containing your demands and contentions. It would be appropriate and beneficial for you to make all communications through written medium.
