Am I bound to verify the bike after it got found and I got my claim

My bike was stolen and I got claim settlement from insurance company as well for that now I got call from police that they have found my bike and I will have to verify it but as I have got the claim I am not interested to go to verify the bike as its in some other city. So am I bound to go for verification or its insurance companies responsibility as I have got the claim and now it's insurance company's property.
