SECTION 1 IPC - Indian Penal Code - Title and extent of operation of the Code

This Act shall be called the Indian Penal Code, and shall extend to the whole of India except the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
Section 1 IPC. This act is called the Indian Penal Code by the law and it applies to all of India, except for Jammu and Kashmir.
