A married woman has full right over her property and is the sole owner whether it is gifted, inherited or earned by her. She has the right to gift it to anyone whether in parts or as a whole. The married woman has the right to maintenance and shelter from her husband. If the husband is a part of a joint family, she has the right to shelter and maintenance from the family.
In the case of partition of a joint family property (between her husband and his sons), the wife has the right to a share equal to as any other person.
When her husband dies, she has the right to an equal share of his part, jointly with her children and his mother.

No if your mother in law executes any gift deed, sale deed or Will deed as per her wish in your wife name then she will get the right otherwise she will not get any right and she can't compel for the same.

The wife will have a share only in the Joint Family property of her husband. If the property is the self acquired property in the name of the mother in law then the wife has no rights on it and the same logic applies even to the husband. As the rights of the husband is limited to the joint family property or ancestral property only of his parents.
