Will mother's property be divided according to will

01-Sep-2023 (In Family Law)
My mother's father has given two properties to my mother. As per my grandfather's wish after my mother passes away in future the property should come to her two daughters. But as per my understanding after my mother the property will go to my father. If my mother does a ' WILL' now in her two daughters names. Will her two daughters get the property directly after her passing away?

In this case property was not purchased or self acquired by your mother. it is your ancestral property.
consult lawyer with photocopies of documents before making WILL . You can protect each once interest under such WILL or may execute some other documents. meet lawyer , will protect your right, title & interest.

She can WILL her own and absolute property in which nobody has any rights during her life time and she is also having full rights in law to dispose it in any manner to any one of her choice, she need not take anyone's consent regarding this.
Upon her intestate demise, (demise without a WILL) the property shall first devolve on her husband and children are her class I legal heirs.

If your mother has full ownership of the property, she can either write it to you and your sister in a Will, or execute a Gift Deed in favour of yourself and your sister. Please check her ownership rights to understand how she can transfer it to your names.
