Wife's indifference to husband's serious illness.

03-May-2023 (In Family Law)
My son aged 35, Christian, with one yr old daughter, diagnosed with kidney failure and on dialysis from 2 months. His high BP not under control is leading to side effects keeping us, father and mother tense and ready to rush to the hospital at short notice, hence staying with him. His wife working is indifferent and provokes with arguments to raise his BP and provokes us too. It is evident that she wants to leave the house with the child. Her provocation may lead to domestic violence . Our main concern is the treatment and recovery of our son's health at our expense. Kindly advise.

Dear Client,
You must first see the safety of your son. You may as elder put the matter before marriage elders and her parents about her indifference towards your son. If she is not willing to stay with your son take legal recourse by taking legal assistance. Whether your son will lever his wife if so he can file a petition for divorce to lead peaceful life.

actually it is the responsibility of the wife to look after her husband who is ill. but she is not doing so. you parents are at liberty to look after your son. If your son is not capable of getting the treatment done and he can even file a case for maintenance against her wife seeking financial assistance. your daughter-in-law is provoking which is leading to domestic violence is correct.
