wife using false messages as Dowry harassment evidence

Dear lawyers, My wife was bugging me with unrealistic demands like immediate overseas job etc, and to irritate her, I was asking her to bring something from her parents to fulfil her needs. Now she is using it as evidence and threatening me for dowry harassment. Will I be able to prove in court that I am innocent? Please advice.

How can you prove that you were innocent if she has proper evidence against you. Ignorance of law is no excuse. You need to defend yourself once she files a case against you in the court of law proving that the evidence is not true and it's been manipulated against you.
