Wife filed False case against my family what action can I take

My son marriage was done as per Hindu customs on 5.3.2016 at Chandigarh. Ring ceremony was done at panchkula on 4.3.2016. On4.3.2016 girl side given a fake car key. No car or any cash was given. Now girl has complained against my son and my married daughter, son in law ,my wife and me many FALSE charges of dowry,cruelty,impotency on my son,where as she never allowed my son sexual intimacy in about 2 months marriage MY SON IS CLASS -1 central government officer since last more than 6 years. INVESTIGATING officer is pressurizing to pay girl side bogus claims about 20 lakhs,

If she has made allegation of impotence and it is not true then you are in a better position because impotency or potency can be proved medically. In case this allegation is proved false then credibility of other allegations is also compromised. If she is not allowing consummation of marriage then you have an option to get marriage declared void under Sec 12 of Hindu Marriage but you will have to collect proofs to prove this. Do not succumb to any pressure tactics. These days courts take a realistic view of such complaints.

Sir if the FIR has been registered then the first thing u should do is to apply anticipatory bail.. As ur son is a government official so if he gets arrested he will be suspended..if the allegations are false it is a matter of court trial.. But do not let your son join the investigation before getting anticipatory bail

Matrimonial disputes are best resolved outside of Court sitting across the table. It is unfortunate that in India the laws are bent heavily in favour of the girl and therefore as the Husband and his family you will remain on the backfoot. Having said that it does not mean that you cannot do anything. I suggest that you file a counter FIR against the girl and her family for falsely accusing you and making a false FIR with a scheme to extort money. Also approach the Lower Court for an anticipatory bail and file a quashing petition in the High Court.
