Wife complained against me to police

My wife asked me that I should take her with me to my location of job which is outside Punjab and i can't afford to take her with me. She also said that she don't want to live in my paternal house with my mom. She always abuses my mother .for this she has complained to her local police station against me and these police officers are calling me over phone to come to her present city without understanding my job situation(I can't get leave from my job as I m still on probation).police officer are intimading me tthat they will file an FIR against me...so I want to know what sort of FIR can they file against me .and what is the course of action required from my side as my wife'dms demands are baseless and she's just want to humiliate me in front of others..plz help!!

If your wife reported incident to police then give your statment regarding your innocence .if she is not living with you first talk with your relatives for reconcillation.if any fir is lodged then that may be under some cruelty regarda with women

I don't find anything legal here. If you want to save your marriage, keep your wife with you or else seek divorce from her. Police can register FIR against you for torturing her and not letting her enjoy married life. It is a kind of domestic violence and cruelty where husband doesn't keep his wife. It is better you keep balance between job and wife else your probationary job will suffer coming to courts again and again. Once again, choose your future carefully like you did marrying this girl.
