What is the procedure for partition of property?

04-Mar-2023 (In Family Law)
I dont have good relations with my in laws. They have 2 sons and I am married to the elder son. We live in a joint family and my husband does not want to move out due to financial issues. My in laws have 2 properties in their name valued at 1.7 crores. Is there a way I can have them give us our share so that we can live separately and peacefully.

If your husband is willing to part their company you can at the most stay in a separate residential accommodation but you cannot have them give you your share as yet. If the property has been acquired by them then its self acquired and it cannot fall in your name without them doing so at their own will.

I need to Know that whether it is an ancestral property or your father in laws self aquired property?
If it is an ancestral one then you can file the partition suit to get your share.
If it is a self aquired one then its totally up to your father in law to whome he want to give a share of it out of love n affection. For assistance you can contact me.
