What is the legal remedy to enforce son's vested rights

I m shikha .I m 20 years old.I need some legal advise.So here is the matter my mother died when i was 4-5 & after six months my father decided to marry again. My step-mom is a wicked woman.she used to abuse and beat me. Now we are separate and i am staying at my dadi's house. My father is not giving me any money for my survival as well as for my studies. I m a student and i m not earning anything yet. I need money to complete my studies . Do I have a legal remedy against them?

Yes, you have absolute right to seek your claim, your father is legally liable to maintain you and if he is not Doing so then you may approach to court to get maintenance. You will maintenance from your father for your education and for not here expenses.

You have a complete right of maintenance from your father and consult your lawyer immediately. In addition to this you have equal share in all ancestral properties which your father got from his parents so you have complete remedy and your counsel shall do it for you.

yes there are remedies available to you as daughter for seeking monetary assistance of your father for completing your studies etc. however, in this case details are required for better opinion on the issue.
