What is the effect of a contested divorce case

16-Feb-2023 (In Family Law)
Hello, I got married in 2915 Feb. My husband has applied for divorce in Oct 2016. I have attended 2 hearings in Dec 2016 and Jan 2017. I have not registered any counter case against him. Now in March, 2017 there are councel talks scheduled. Could you please let me know what will happen in the session?

Hi
The counsellor will mediate between you and your husband and based on the statements made by the parties will submit the report to court. Assuming you said you wanted to live with your husband, the court will order your husband to live with you.
In case you have agreed to grant him divorce, courts will grant both of you divorce

Madam,
First of all you should attend counselling. Is there any possibility of compromise. If any mediation you both will life together. Otherwise you should file your answer by placing real facts before the court to appreciate. You will be given ample opportunity to project your case. You should attend each and every adjournment. You must show to the court, each and every happening after marriage and your dissatisfaction and misunderstandings by filing your answer and by placing evidence for due determination of the case.
