What are the safeguards to enter into a live-in relationship

I want to commited with a person with my safety area..so shuould i sighn live in relationship contract with him?i m hindu by religion
Recently the Hon. Supreme COURT has declared that the livein relationship is a tight rope walk. The live in relationship if not successfully concluded the same may be treated as full fleged marriage so far as maintenance is concerned. The bright point is you get to know your partner before marriage. There are no safeguards.

The Supreme Court over the years has recognized live-in relationships and has held that if a man and woman "lived like husband and wife" for a long period and had children, then the judiciary would presume that the two were married and the woman would be eligible to inherit the property after death of her partner.
You are free to sign the Agreement but before signing think about your parents and your brother sisters, and status in the society.
