We are facing a complex Family Dispute

Hi, My bade papa and his son and his family keep Harssing my parents who are in village of ballia district they keep fighting on daily basis and threating to my parents and abusing them. My bade papa wife and his bahu keep abusing my parents and this is happening from a long time can you suggest me what I can do against them I am working in crpf and posted in Jammu Kashmir.
You should register Police complain against them and give application to ssp also that you have fear for your parents death as they are threatening your parents for causing hurt so you are worried about them

I will need more facts than what you have stated. What are they harassing your parents for? The best thing to do is to file an FIR with the local police station to begin with. If the cops give you any trouble then your parents can get in touch with me. I can speak to the cops on theirs behalf or better yet help them draft a complaint. Once the complaint has been filed we can think of filing a suit against them if you wish to do the same.

There are laws against such kind of atrocities, beside Indian penal code special law like Domestic violence Act ,laws for the protection of senior citizens ,you could ask your parent to register complaint first under Domestic violence Act ,as it's family matter ,you had not mentioned whether the house in which your parents are living is ancestral house or your uncle's .Give details for personalised advice .
