Validity of promise to marry given on stamp paper

I have been into relationship with a guy for long time now but he hasn't settled yet so he says he will marry me once he is settled n is ready to commit n write n give me on stamp paper.. I would like to know what if later he changes his mind would tht stamp paper b enough to take legal steps or is der any other way for him to commit tht he will surely marry me once he is settled.

Its a matter about how your reletionship with a guy . Affidavit on stamp paper its not enough. If he realy love you then you dont want to worry . But legal action first the boy settle himself then marry with him . Stamp paper is not valid for future

Hello
Marriage is not a contract or agreement between both the parties. If one who made an agreement for he will be doing marriage in future that is not admissible in law.
U take your decesion what u want from your partner.

No, this is not the correct way to write on a stamp paper ,but yes you can file a criminal complaint against him based on that stamp paper written by him regarding marriage. You can not sue him for marriage through that stamp paper
