The limitation is 30 days in some cases it can be condoned. Court marriage under special marriage act takes only a day to be registered. In these cases the time limit is also for 30 days and can be condoned only for genuine reason. If you like my answer kindly rate me.

Marriages always solemnized as per religious traditions or local rituals and it cannot be solemnized in the courts. if you are said the process of Registration of marriage to Court marriage then it can be of two types one is registration of marriage under Special Marriage Act or other is Hindu Marriage Act 1955/ Christian Marriage Act etc. Both these registration of marriages cannot be challenged after its registration by any outsider. Only parties (Bride or Bridegroom) of the marriage can be declared the Marriage as Null and void by the indulgence of the Court.
