Threat due to Pregnancy by Consensual sex with my son any problem

13-Mar-2023 (In Family Law)

Sir, I am 43 and my son is 23. I have a daughter who is 13. I am divorced for the past 8 years from my abusive husband. . I have had a sexual relationship with my son for the past one year and I am pregnant now. My senseless discussion with my ex-husband revealed to him that my son is the father of my baby growing inside me. My ex-husband threatens me a lot for money regularly in return to keep him from informing police. Is it possible that my son and I will be arrested? is our relationship legal? Can me and my son continue our sexual relationship? Will my children be taken away?

I am at a loss to make any suggestion in this regard. In the strict legal sense there is no ground for your ex-husband (I trust you are legally divorced from him) has nothing to interfere in the matter or to threaten you. There is nothing for the police to interfere. there is legally nothing illegal in Sexual intercourse between two willing adults.

However, the problem is moral. You have failed as a mother. And compromised the future of your son and daughter and the child in your womb. Still you have no remorse and wish to continue with it! At least I hope some relative will take away the daughter from you and take care of her.

Pregnancy can be an emotional time for any mom, and so much more so for the mom who's been left by her partner at such a vulnerable life juncture. Don't lose your sensibility, Sensitivity. In your case your relationship is not legal. Not disclose the father of baby to anyone. If once you’re revealed it will affect your entire life and stop the Sexual relationship with son. At least please do understand the value of relationships in life such as husband, mother, wife, son and daughter. If possible try for abortion and save your life and your children’s life from a lifelong abusive act done by you.
Please do remember that your Daughter‘s life has also affected the above said situation in much verse. You had lost the value of motherhood and respect from others in the society. So stop the sexual relationship with son.

Madam,
Criminal law is not directly concerned with consentual sex with two adults of different sex.
The relationship is incetful and cannot be legalized.
Threats can actually defame you and expose u to social ire.
U may take appropriate medical advise for healthy feotus and mentally stable child.
