Sister threatening me with videos of me and my son getting intimate.
09-Jun-2023 (In Family Law)
I'm in trouble. I am divorced and my age is 44.i have a relationship with my son which is sexual in nature for last 3 years. He is 25. I told this to my sister. She supported it wholeheartedly.I fell pregnant 2 years before and have a baby with my son.She helped me raise the baby by providing emotional support. Foolishly, I Gave her some video clips of my son & me having intercourse because she asked. She had some financial problem and asked me money which I couldn't provide. Now she threaten me with those video clips. She is 45.What can we do? Is such sex a a crime? Can my son and me continue sex?
As such this is not a crime. you can continue with your life, as you like.
But you certainly can file a complaint to the police for extortion and blackmail against your sister. The police can charge the accused persons under Section 385 (extortion), of the Indian Penal Code.

The relationship between you and your son comes under the prohibited relationship. But your sister has no right to take any action against you. Either your husband or wife of your son can take any action. But because you are a divorcee, so the issue of husband is no longer valid. Having sex with anyone is not a crime until and unless it is against his or her will. Revert me
All the best.
All the best.
spreading of any kind of videos of any persons whatever it is, is an offence. if she blackmail and circulate it to any persons this is an offence and crime. but relationship with your son is not legitimate and legal as per the society. better to stop these kind of activities it may fatal in future and your future relationship with your son and second son. it may be not acceptable by the society in India. it will also affects and destroy you future life because it cant not be hide by any point of time. because it will be disclosed any point of time in future. So please stop immediately these activities and settle everything in a safe mode.
It's not a crime and you can continue. To handle your sister and avoid her threatening you must call and discuss the issue in detail as it needs planning. You must stop advertising your relationship in such way bcoz such relationships are not seen with good eyes. I can understand your situation. May God bless you.
You can report the matter to the police and ask them to maintain confidentiality in the matter. If your sister transmits the alleged video to anyone, she will be committing various offences under the IT Act besides other offences under the IPC . If she is blackmailing you for money, it's technically the offence of extortion that she is committing . You can take recourse to police action in the matter.
