Sister in law filed complaint under section 12 PWDVA 2005

the fact is that my elder brother died in Delhi two years ago . i and my family stay with my father who is 91 years old at Bongaigaon. my elder brother lived with us.but they have separate kitchen and living room. the property is totally belong to my father. now the fact is that after my elder brother died she filled a Pwdv case under section 12 for compensation. Actually they have separated from us long times . i want to know can she claims any compensation from me and my father any ground? please help

Since your elder brother was living separately under arrangements allowed by you father ; real separation of landed property had not happened. Your father's wish is important because under Dayabagha system the fathers' wishes are important . Your sister in law has a strong case seeking part in property .
