Shop on grandfather's name can my father claim share in it

We have shop in the name of my grand father. My father running this shop since last 25 year. Now my grand father wanted this shop and removed from shop. Is there any provision in indian law to protect my father.
Whether that shop is is self acquired property of your grandfather that is important and if so then your grandfather can disposed the property as he likes and no then he can not sell the property on his own or disposed the same.
