The Supreme Court Judgement is pertaining to ancesteral property.

If your father had self acquired property and since ince your father died intestate and if it was his self acquired property then as per section 10 of Hindu Succession Act, the property will devolve to all his legal heir including daugthers.

The daugthers can file suit for partition thereby seeking their share in the property.
