Property in mother's name can children not living with her claim

i m a hindu and have two bros and three sis. My father died without any will so the only property ie a residential flat got transferred to my mom. i lived with my mom only andmy all other bros and sis lived separate with their families. i tokk care of my mom till death. and now my bros and sis are claiming the property. the poperty is sson to be gone under redevelopment. what should i do now. the society(committee) of the building is in my favour please help me sir as sson as possible do reply

If a person dies without any will the law of suceession is applicable. As for as Hindu religion is concerned the hindu suceesion act is applicable and all the childrem have equal share irrespecive of gender.

If the property transferred by ur dad to your mom then your mom straightaway can give it to you. Otherwise you can go for partition suit where you can negotiate good money. .

HELLO,

Your falter's property is ancestral or self earned, you have to clarify that First.

Whether you have maintained your mother till her death will not be sound point for your claim in law. As per Hindu law the claim of your brothers and sisters is right - legally speaking.
