03-Aug-2023 (In Family Law)
In my 3.5 years of married life, i live only 1 year with my husband , in that period of time also his behaviour with me was v torturing. Now I don't want to live with him. I asked for divorse he is not ready to give divorce even khula also. Now since 8 months he is not in contact he is living in Dubai I am here in Bhilai with my mother.I want to live with him in future now how can I get rid from him if he refused khula. Some people said me I have to wait for a period of 4 years. Please suggest me as per Muslim shariyat hanfi law.

There is no mandatory period of waiting for 4 years. It is only 3 calendar months. Although apart from this you have various other remedies, i.e. through special marriage act and also by taking remedies by taking the shelter in other acts. Take appointment and meet me for other valid options.
