The query as made needs clarification of facts and therefore send the facts in details
However it appears that maintenance has been demanded and they haven't appeared persuance to summon(The service of summon may fradulentaly been shown as served)
However since bailable warrant has been issued, it is necessary to get it cancelled &withdrwan first by filing a proper Application before the issuing Court to avoid hardship/humiliation and also to avoid NBW

Are you even sure that an arrest warrant has been issues? As of what I gather from your queries this is what your father in law has told you. Further court does not issues arrest warrant on merely missing two dates incase it is true you have received the legal notice. Further please make sure that no one has received the summon from your end as incase the service has been completed and yet you did not appear only then such an extreme step has been taken in abeyance of law. Also, still get a bail bond prepared along with surety as and when you appear in the court just as a precautionary measure.

Mam the parents if unsupported they can ask for maintenance from their children.. This is not a criminal case so don't worry there is nothing to fear.. The arrest warrant is bailable and is just because for you to appear before court and face the trial.. However if you don't appear then the court can issue non bailable warrant

hi,
if he has filed case in against your husband then you should confirm whether is thier case pending on u and thier is, then contest the case and take a bail or move an application to cancellation of warrant if your court allows, generally the case comes under 125 crpc.
