Your sister can seek maintenance from husband if her salary is not sufficient for her sustenance. Or else she cannot. Moreover her daughter is entitled for maintenance from father. Approach the court through a lawyer and seek remedy.

Hello,

Since your sister is working, she will not get maintenance from her husband. However, she can claim maintenance for her daughter. Your sister needs to file maintenance case in the family court under whose jurisdiction she is presently residing in order to claim maintenance for the child.

Your sister can file a maintenance case. She and her daughter are entitled for maintenance though your sister is working. So I advise her file case for maintenance for herself and the child. The husband is bound to provide maintenance.
