My wife went to her parents home and not returning got married in 2016

12-Jun-2023 (In Family Law)
I got married on 11 Dec, 2016 in Aurangabad(MH). My wife and me are from Aurangabad. But due to my job I shifted my family to Nashik on 3 June,2016. On 17 Aug, 2016 I got engaged with her, before the engagement me and my family told to her and her parents that we are going settled in nasik permanently. Then we got married. After 3 months of marriage my wife started to demand me to search job in Aurangabad and get settled there.I refused because I work in a IT company and there is no future in Aurangabad. She kept telling me same thing and everytime I refused, then she started to misbehaving with my family. And she told if you are not ready to come Aurangabad then dont touch me I am not your wife. We had many nights without talking to each other and sex. That made me frustrating and I called her parents. But instead of telling her they also said the same things to come Aurangabad. Finally I told this to my parents they called her family, they came and took her with them. We r hindu

Sir,
At this stage an attempt to sort out the matter through a joint meeting of families or NGO is advisable than straight away going into litigation. If nothing works our meet a lawyer to discuss your options according to what you want to do ahead.

It seems like you want her back in your life. You can file a petition for restitution of conjugal rights in family court. But you must remember that the decree of restitution of conjugal rights cannot be executed by forcing the party who has withdrawn from the society from the other to stay with the person who institutes Petition for restitution. However, if the decree of restitution of conjugal right is not honored for a period of more than one year, subsequent to the date of the decree, it becomes a ground for divorce.
