19-Dec-2023 (In Family Law)
my wife filed a 498, 34 and 506 case. She was staying in her moms house since 5 months. I told her to come after 5 months but she didnt came. I told i will file a case against her and mom, it was a dhamki. But they took seriously and filed a complaint. SI called for compromise and told her to stay 1 week in my house but she showed her faltu attitude and in second counselling she refused to stay with me after a compromise from us. SI told them to go in court as my wife was compromising and understanding. We gave 10 days time to their family to correct the girl but she filed a fir 498, 34 and 506. She filed a case against my 3 sisters me and mom. Please let me know if i need to take the anticipatery or regular bail for my whole family or taking bail myself is fine.  Also, please let me know if i will be convicted or acquitted for the 498, 34 and 506 case. I took dowry of 2 lakhs in which 1 lakh is given to my wife of gold. I have the receipt.

HI
Since you have already appeared for counselling it is highly unlikely that the police will arrest you.
however it is in your interest that you take an anticipatory bail or regular bail from the courts having jurisdiction of the police station in which the case is filed.
Not sure how the 2 lakhs was given to you. If it was given in cash, better NOT to accept the fact of taking cash as it will result in conviction.
so denying the acceptance of cash is the best way as it is the party who has to prove the fact of giving cash to you in court.
