Mental harassment by mother- in- law what action can i take

I have been mentally harrased by my mother-in-law from the starting stage of my marriage. It's our love marriage & she didn't want to happen it, she hates my parents & abuses & insult them too. She didn't want my pregnancy also, she torchered me mentally like anything when i was pregnant, I would have loose my child but thankfully now I am blessed with a baby girl,after my delivery also she was very violent so we left the home, but now also she is torchering us very much by saying that I'll take u both to the court & she is coming at our home & giving us violent threats. Now please suggest us what should we do??? We want to file a warning complaint against her so she couldn't irritate us as my husband comes late at night from the job n I stay alone with my 5 months old daughter, & I don't want any harmful act by her now, please suggest us how to complaint about this? I just want her to get warned so she don't trouble us anymore.
